Surviving the UAE Heat: A Vaper’s Guide

Summer in the UAE can be absolutely brutal, with temperatures regularly soaring above 40°C (104°F). While you might be seeking the nearest AC, your vape device needs protection from the heat too. Extreme temperatures can ruin your e-liquid, degrade your battery, and even cause your device to leak or malfunction.

1. Never Leave Your Vape in the Car

This is the golden rule. The inside of a parked car in Dubai can easily exceed 60°C. Leaving your vape inside can cause the battery to vent, swell, or even explode. The heat will also thin out your e-liquid, causing it to leak through the airflow vents and ruin the electronics.

2. Store E-Liquids in a Cool, Dark Place

Heat and sunlight are the enemies of nicotine and flavorings. When exposed to heat, e-liquid can oxidize rapidly, turning dark, harsh, and peppery. Keep your bottles in a drawer or cupboard away from direct sunlight.

3. Beware of Direct Sunlight at the Beach

If you’re taking your vape to the beach or pool, keep it in a shaded bag. The intense UAE sun can overheat the metal casing of your device in minutes.

4. Use High VG Juices

Heat naturally thins out e-liquid. If you use a liquid with high PG (Propylene Glycol), it might become too watery in the summer and cause leaking. Opting for a High VG (Vegetable Glycerin) liquid can help maintain the right consistency.
